We had a wonderful weekend with our little friend. She is truly a dear little girl. Monday was hard. I cried a few times just thinking of her leaving us (she left Monday night). We also went to an hour long visit with her birth mom (I didn't stay for the visit, just dropped off and picked up). Heartache to see what this little girl has to face and what she still has to face until things settle down for her.
It's humbling that God would introduce her into our lives. It is not a burden to carry cares, and pain, and desires, and prayers for her. We feel really blessed that God would let us care for not just Violet and Augs but now one more of his precious little ones. Give us grace, God!
We are most certainly hoping to get her back very soon. As I said before, her current foster mom is moving out of state. We've told our agency we would love to have her placed with us.
