little valentine's things.

It's Valentine's!  A day to do something sweet for those you love.  I never have crazy plans for Valentine's Day.  But, we always find ways to have a little fun around here.  Violet and I made tiny treat bags for her girlfriends.  These are mini, brown paper bags I found at the craft store.  We painted a watercolor heart on the front and put a few goodies inside.  Simple, fast, easy, cute.  I love it.

Dru is working on making a devilishly good-looking cake for us straight from the pages of Martha Stewart's Living magazine.  He did the first part this morning and said he'll be finishing the rest before dinner.  How's that for a Valentine? I'll let you know how it turns out.
