I'm starting a new book today. Have you read it? What did you think? I've been hearing rave reviews about this book everywhere I turn. Even bought it for my mom-in-law almost a year ago! Looking forward to finally cracking it open myself.

Oh, it is so good! I just read it a couple weeks ago and read it every chance I got until I finished it, I was so hooked. I found it so interesting, and very sad, to realize that the book was set in a time when my parents were growing up and how much racism there was. That things like that happened not very long ago and probably still happen sometimes. I actually asked both of my parents a bunch of questions about what things were like when they were kids after reading it. Parts of it were hard to read because of the way people treated each other, but I'm so glad you're reading it! It's one of the best novels I've read in a long time.

Loved this book. Eye opening about how things were done back then. Great story and very well written.

It was my favorite book of last year. Loved it, and can't wait for the movie to come out this summer!
