december happenings. part two.
We've already had the pleasure of sharing Christmas with Dru's parents! They visited us over the weekend and we had a merry time. Grandpa Ron painted my kitchen for me!!! What a kind man to paint on his Christmas vacation, huh? It's beautiful and I'm loving the change. Dru and I bought a new couch as our gift to each other this year...so with new paint and a new couch our home has had a mini face lift.

When we exchanged gifts with Grammy and Grandpa, Dru also threw in an early gift for the kids...a Lego Christmas cottage set. Violet was ecstatic. She ran up to Dru, threw, her arms around him, kissed him, and declared, "Santa has done a wonderful job this year!" Haha!
