cousins.

Cousin Dessie made her first visit to Texas with her mommy this month. We had such a wonderful time getting to know this doll. Violet didn't think twice about accepting her role as the "older" cousin (no surprise there) and nurtured these to kids like crazy. Augie and Dess spent most of their weekend on their play quilt gnawing on toys and flapping their arms at each other.

Saturday morning we were all up by 6 with wide awake kiddos. By 7 we figured we'd take advantage of the cooler morning time and pretty lighting and we set the kids out in the back yard and got some great photos in about 10 min. Funny how that works sometimes!
