Violet, what a precious gift you are to us! Even today as I watch you I am so amazed at your life and the blessing you are to your mommy and daddy. We love your creativity and your spunk. You have such a tender, encouraging spirit always commenting how nice people are or what a wonderful time you had here, or such a beautiful thing you notice there. I love celebrating your life and rejoicing in the Lord through remembering your birth and your life up until now. I am so honored that I get to be your Mommy! I had so much fun celebrating with you this year!! Love you baby girl!
Here's some of how we celebrated your special day: You woke up on your birthday and opened your gifts from mommy and daddy while still in your jammies. Then we took you out to breakfast at Chick Fil A. You and mommy had lunch with your new tea set and then got to work on your cake (you love helping mommy in the kitchen). For dinner we had "special mac and cheese" aka fettuccini alfredo becuase all you wanted was pb&j or mac and cheese ;). Mimi and Papa, Tim, Callie and Annie, and Nana and Megan all came over dressed in costume for the occasion!! We asked everyone to dress as a prince or princess and they went all out and looked awesome!! We all colored with you in your princes coloring book and then daddy read "CInderella" out loud and we each played a part and acted out the whole story. Of course, you played the leading role, full of emotion and with every one of your lines already memorized! You love all your family members so much and they are truly your best friends. I loved seeing you so thrilled to be with us all on your birthday.
