midwife visits.

Our midwife, Kathleen, came by the house for a check-up on Tuesday; three days after the birth. It felt so special to have her come visit us at home. I could really get used to that, no problemo. She checked on the baby's and my health and did some fun stuff like footprints, finalized the birth certificate, weighed him (he lost a little, of course. Think he weighed in at 9 lbs 6 oz this time). I took a couple pictures of her weighing him cause her little contraption was too cool.
