I might be frightened by the first and third pictures. But it's obvious the children love Violet! And the little girl seems to enjoy her scary-looking friends. That's nice!
Beauty queen story: My sister-in-law was talking to a Miss "Some State" that's coming to our church and I was waiting to talk to my sisil. She briefly introduced us; I said, "Nice to meet you." The BQ said, "THINK-you!" (That's how "Thank you" sounds from BQs) I found myself mentally scratching my head at her reply....? Then last Saturday at a homegroup cookout, she and some other college students were there. I had forgotten her name, so to find it out I said, "Hi, I'm Sally...Did Lauren introduce us a couple of weeks ago?" She said, "I don't think so..!" So I said, "I'm pretty sure we met, right after the meeting..?" She said, "That's nice!" Uhhh...? I just hung my shoulders down, curled up my fingers, swung my arms and slumped away... Unh!
