Christmas Eve.

My family came over and we sat around as my dad read "The Night Before Christmas". Violet had to hear it. Apparently every child must have this read to them on Christmas Eve...though I'd never heard the whole thing through before :). After the story (or is it a poem??) we each opened one gift. This (unlike the reading) really is a tradition my family has always done...where we open one present on Christmas Eve that is always pajamas. Even Violet got a pair!



















Then I experimented with my camera and our tree lights. Oh the joys that Christmas brings!















My sister meg taught me this trick. Nifty!
