Hi Everybody!



Violet will be three weeks old on Friday! She eats well and sleeps well which of course makes me very happy. On Monday she had her 2 week old well baby visit with the doctor. She's 9 pounds now!! So she gained back more than her birth weight (she was 8 lbs 2 oz at birth, 7 lbs, 8oz when we left the hospital). She's in the 60th percentile for weight and 40th for height (for all you moms out there who know and care about that). It's so funny that when they're so little the only (sort of) thing we worry about is if she eats and poops!

Awww...I miss that sweet girl so much! At the rate she's growing, I won't recognize her by the wedding! Give her a kiss from her Aunt Mindy...

Wow, she's cute. Do you keep tabs on how much pooping action is taking place? I know I did that with my kids. It's funny, I don't do that for myself. Maybe we all should.

Mindy, we're so glad you guys came to visit baby V while she's still little...the only problem was that the trip was too short!!
Callie, please stop calling me "baby", but I do love you too.
Judy, yes, Violet gets a big check mark on her chart for every poop and pee. If you have doubts about your own regularity, maybe you should keep track for yourself. Gold stars maybe? Too keep it fun??
Megan, yes I'm considering going back to comment moderating...just for Judy.

Awww she is so cute. Fun to see her pic again. She has grown and changed a lot already. By the way I loved your mom's day pic with her...you look so good. I didn't get a chance to comment that day.

Get use to talking about poop...alot. It doesn't stop with babies. We are in the poop goes in the potty stage around here...not on the walls not in the back yard etc etc. Funny how you become a mom and it doesn't really phase you to talk about it.
